how is biotechnology field in swiss and name any public uni for masters in biotech in swiss.

Do they provide on campus accommodation? How are the living costs? How is the student life around? How hard is it to get accepted? What stats got you in?

Can people with GPA B/W 3 - 3.5( with really good extra curriculars) be accepted into ETH for bachelors? Like what do they consider while accepting a student's portfolio?

How long did it take for you to learn German ? Also do you need to be in a university in your own country to apply to ethz bachelors ?

I am a US student (with EU passport which makes it easier) and want to study in Zurich (ETH or UZH). Do you know about the major differences in the education system there vs in the US? Are there a lot of international students at either uni? Thank you!

Καλησπέρα Μαρία! Σπουδάζω κι εγώ μηχανολόγων μηχανικών στο ΑΠΘ πέμπτο έτος και σκεφτόμουν να κάνω αίτηση για το μεταπτυχιακό μου στο ETHZ, συγκεκριμένα για Computational engineering. Με προβλημάτισε λίγο αυτό που είπες στην αρχή ότι παίρνουν άτομα με μ.ο. 8.50-9.0 και πάνω. Ισχύει; Πιστεύεις κάποιον με χαμηλότερο μ.ο. δεν υπάρχει περίπτωση να το δεχτούν; Σε ρωτάω μιας και σπούδασες εκεί και πλέον ίσως να έχεις γνωρίσεις και άλλα άτομα/περιπτώσεις.

Hey Maria, question about apartments...could you do a video on the different areas near eth that are popular to stay in and advantages and disadvantages of each one? There may be some areas that have a lot of restaurants and party life nearby, others really close to university, or maybe really cheap, would love some insight into those local tips! Thanks for your informative videos, they really help paint a picture of what ETH may feel like!

Hi! I want to study at the ETH next year and I'm wondering how many hours daily you have to spend studying. I've heard that the Basisprüfung is really hard to pass and I know that I am not particularly smart so I am now reconsidering my dicision. Can a normal student pass the exam if he or she works hard or do you have to be really really smart?

i have seen many students in the US get a 4.00/4.00 in top uni, but I have seen none in Switzerland getting a 6.00/6.00 Any explanation?

Hey Maria, I’ve reached the video a bit late so I’m not sure if you’ll see my comment, but I wanted to ask if they teach the classes in Swiss German or in basic german that is used in Germany. I want to apply to ETH for the masters degree in Architecture and I found out that it is taught only in German. I have plenty of time to learn it, but I dont know where I can learn it in their dialect. So i just wanted to ask if it’s okay if I only know how to speak basic German.

Γεια!! Είμαι μαθήτρια 3η λυκείου και έχω επιλέξει το 2ο επιστημονικό πεδίο που είναι κατεύθυνση των θετικών και τεχνολογικών σπουδών. Η αλήθεια είναι ότι τώρα που έχω ξεκινήσει τα μαθήματα της γ λυκείου με έχει πιάσει ένα ανεξήγητο άγχος για το αν εχω επιλέξει σωστά ή αν θα τα καταφέρω με τα μαθήματα. Έχω στο νου μου ότι θα ήθελα να ασχοληθώ με τον κλάδο της Οικολογίας , Πράσινη Ενέργεια , Περιβάλλον κλπ. Τα μαθηματικά και η φυσική δεν ήταν πάντα το δυνατό μου σημείο, αν και στην 2η λυκείου τα είχα πάει καλά. Συνεχίζουν όμως να με αγχώνουν όλες αυτές οι σκέψεις... Τα μαθήματα είναι κάτι που εσένα σε δυσκόλεψε πολύ , δεδομένου την προηγούμενη σχέση που είχες μαζί τους;

Good evening Maria I will be starting my studies at ETH in September this year, however, I haven't found a place to stay yet, and I'm quite stressed about it. I have been rejected from multiple residences, due to all places being already taken. The only solution left for me is to look for student apartments. For now I have been looking at apartments on the page you recommended in the video (The ETH apartment page), could you please recommend what I should do in this situation? Is it already too late, or am I still in time to find apartments? By the way, in a few weeks I will go to Zurich, in order to get to know the city better, and visit some places, what do you recommend me to do?
